Welcome to the plan B marketing portfolio
Here, you'll find a selection of my current work, showcased with the owner's permission and not restricted by Non-Disclosure Agreements.
As you will see, there are many similarities between the sites. That’s intentional—because they convert.
My Design Philosophy:
I design with the user in mind, ensuring their questions are answered in a straightforward, easy-to-find way. You don’t need fancy bells and whistles for that.
90% of a website's success happens behind the scenes. It involves thorough UX Research to understand what users want and then delivering it in a straightforward, user-friendly manner.
The Salon Experience
The owner of The Salon Experience wanted a website that was as refined and stylish as the salon itself. Her vision was clear: a clean, minimalist design that felt upscale—without being overdone. She didn’t want flash. She wanted feel.
My job was to strip away the clutter and focus on what really mattered: showcasing the salon’s atmosphere, services, and award-winning team with sophistication and clarity. The layout guides visitors smoothly from one section to the next, using calming neutrals, tasteful typography, and strong visuals to create an inviting user experience.
From mobile optimization to custom social icons in brand-matched colors, every detail was crafted to reflect the salon’s high standards and professional charm.
plan B marketing Website
I developed the plan B marketing website using Squarespace. Over the years, I’ve worked with platforms like Webflow, WordPress, and even coded straight HTML. Each has its place, but for simple websites, Squarespace offers more than enough functionality.
I chose Squarespace for its speed, security, and ease of use. When onboarding new clients to their website, a user-friendly platform is crucial.
Website Redesign for Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds
About 8 years ago, I originally designed the website for Hidden Acres Rescue for Thoroughbreds. While the original site served its purpose well at the time, Hidden Acres is now rebranding.
They wanted a cleaner, more modern look with an updated color scheme, and I was excited to take on the challenge.
Murray’s Collision Center
The owner of Murray’s Collision Center sought a straightforward website to establish an online presence and provide essential information to potential customers. The goal was to create a clean, user-friendly site that clearly communicates the services offered and facilitates easy contact.
I designed a minimalist, responsive website that highlights the shop's core services—such as collision repair, paintless dent removal, and frame straightening—while emphasizing their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The site includes clear calls to action, contact information, and integrates seamlessly with their existing branding. This approach ensures that visitors can quickly find the information they need, reflecting the shop's dedication to efficient and reliable service.
Website Redesign for Melbourne Denture Service
Dr. Hook runs a small, low-tech dental practice focused exclusively on custom dentures. After being dissatisfied with the high fees and poor results from a larger company, he turned to me for a solution.
I created a simple, effective website and supplemented it with PPC advertising and direct response postcards. The results? Higher conversions at a fraction of the cost he was paying for the old website.
Autow Image Towing Website
The Autow Image Towing website is a great example of a straightforward, service-based website. If you need something basic with a quick turnaround, this is a perfect model.
The site answers all of the client's questions in a clear, easy-to-follow flow, guiding users seamlessly to the service call.
